CVHRMA Honors 2016 Student of the Year
On May 18, 2016 CVHRMA announced Alejandra Delgadillo as our 2016 Student of the Year and presented her with a scholarship at our monthly luncheon.
Alejandra is a first generation college student and attended CSU Stanislaus. Born to immigrated parents, raised in Brentwood California, she is the oldest of four children. Alejandra will be graduating this spring with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management.
Throughout Alejandra’s college career she sought many opportunities that could set her apart from her peers. She was an officer for CSU Stanislaus’ SHRM club, a student member of CVHRMA, worked on-campus as an assistant in the Facilities Services department as well as a Resident Assistant. Alejandra volunteered in the Stanislaus County Probation Departments HR office, and in 2015 had a federal government internship with the U.S. Department of Treasury, IRS Human Capital Office in Washington, D.C.
Alejandra is well on her way to make her mark in our profession as she has recently accepted a position with the Wine Group.
Congratulations Alejandra on all of your achievements!
