Nicki Garcia, President of Central Valley SHRM, has been proudly serving California’s HR community since 2009. From Tulare-Kings County to Modesto, she’s led multiple SHRM boards, mentored countless HR professionals, and continues to champion growth, leadership, and connection across the Central Valley.
With more than 15 years of experience connecting great people to great companies, Nicki believes that education and compliance are at the heart of successful hiring. Through her leadership with SHRM, she helps keep her network of HR professionals, clients, and community partners educated, safe, and compliant in the ever-changing landscape of California employment law. Her day job includes being the Talent Finder & Talent Leader behind Talent Group Executive Search, a women-owned recruiting firm proudly based in Oakdale, California.
When she isn’t serving on a board somewhere or dialed into an interview she can be found on a soccer field, hanging with her husband and three kids, or enjoying a hot cup of coffee on her porch!
